Lakadong Turmeric Powder

Vedicmart Lakadong Turmeric comes from the Jaintia Hills of Meghalaya, the home of India’s famous Lakadong variety. It is naturally high in curcumin (7–11%), so it has a deeper golden colour and a stronger aroma than regular haldi.

A little goes a long way. Use it in dals and sabzis, stir it into golden milk, or brew it as turmeric tea. Pure turmeric, with no colours, fillers or preservatives.

Use about half the quantity of regular haldi in cooking. For golden milk, stir half a teaspoon into warm milk with a pinch of black pepper.
